If you are ordering a wedding cake, it is advisable for me to deliver it your venue.  They are usually heavy and require a lot of care so that they arrive safely in one piece.  If for some reason they do get damaged during transit, I have all the necessary equipment to rectify any damage.
If you choose to have a friend collect your cake, I hold no responsibility for it once it leaves my studio.  I will endeavour to package it carefully.
